Description
The stables at Hazelbury Manor, dating from the late 17th century, are constructed from squared rubble stone and feature a stone tiled roof. The east gable is coped, and there is one central loft dormer on the north front. The ground floor has a series of openings consisting of a window, a door, another window, a door, and two additional windows. The doors are set in flush chamfered surrounds, while the windows have two small square lights in recessed cyma-moulded mullioned frames. A mounting block is located between the doors. There are outside stairs at the west end leading to the loft. The rear of the building has four 20th-century windows that resemble those on the front. Inside, there is a six-bay double purlin roof supported by collar-trusses and later sling braces.
