Description

The Sewage Ventilation Stack, located on Quarry Hill, is a structure from the mid to late 19th century, created by J. Stone and Co. Ltd. of Deptford, London. It is made of cast iron and features a moulded fluted pedestal that includes an inscription with the maker's name and date. The stack has a tall plain shaft and a flared top adorned with pierced cresting.
