Description
Rookery Nook is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a concrete tile roof, coped gables, and end wall stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a double fronted design, with a first floor band and two 2-light flush cyma-moulded mullion windows on each floor. The central entrance consists of a 6-panel door set in a chamfered surround, topped with a hood supported by brackets. To the left, there is a short ashlar addition that includes a door, a coped gable, and an end wall stack. On the right end, there are remnants of a 19th-century two-storey cottage row, which includes a small ashlar block with a slate roof, featuring a two-window range of sash windows and a door with a hood on brackets. The building is included for its group value.
