Description
1, 2 and 3 Duke Street are three cottages built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared stone and have a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two bays, with No 3 located at the rear of No 2. The openings feature plain stone surrounds, and the windows have flat-faced mullions. Nos 1 and 2 each have a 20th-century glazed door on the right, a three-light window on the left, and a five-light window above, although the mullions of No 1's windows have been removed. The cottages have plain gutter brackets on the eaves and a central ridge stack. On the right side, there is a door with a blocked window to its right, a two-light window on the first floor, and a keyed lunette in the gable.
