Description
Church Hill is a terrace of six houses built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed from coursed squared stone and feature a stone slate roof. Each house is two storeys high and has one bay. The openings are framed with plain stone surrounds, with doors that include tie-stones and windows that have flat-faced mullions. Each house has a door on the left and a four-light window on the right, along with a five-light window featuring a wider central light on the first floor. The terrace has plain gutter brackets on the eaves and a stack at the right end of each house. To the right of No. 10, there is a later cart arch with accommodation above, which connects this terrace to Nos 11-13. At the rear, the houses were originally back-to-earth, but each now has an inserted ground-floor door and window, with original two-light windows above (two for each house). The left gable features watershot stone and has one two-light window.
