Description

Roe Cross Farm is a group of three cottages built in the late 18th century, with a later addition. The cottages are constructed from dressed stone and feature a graduated stone slate roof. They are single-depth with a total of three bays, along with lean-tos and outshuts at the rear. The right-hand cottage is slightly newer. Each cottage has three square-cut stone door surrounds and two flat-faced stone mullion windows, with three-light and two-light configurations; however, the windows in the third bay have had their mullions removed. The cottages also have shaped gutter brackets and three chimney stacks. On the left gable, there are two blind semi-circular-arched stone recesses.
