Description

Edge Lane House is a house dated 1746, as indicated by the inscription on the keystone above the porch. It is constructed of squared rubble and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a double-depth central-staircase plan and consists of two storeys, with a 20th-century lean-to added against the right gable.

The house has a projecting plinth and a recessed porch that features a semi-circular arch and an enriched keystone. On each floor, there are two 3-light 20th-century timber mullion and transom windows with stone lintels, and above the porch, there is a similar window with two lights. The gable ends have ridge stacks and are adorned with two stone roundels on each side.
