Description
Holly Tree Cottage is a detached cottage, possibly once two cottages, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features plastered cob walls with some brick repairs and dressings. The cottage has a thatched roof with one brick chimney stack at the left end and another left of center. At the left end, there is a stable door in a porch that has a tiled gabled roof. The right end has a former porch where the door has been replaced by a window, also with a tiled gabled roof. Both the ground and first floors have three casement windows with glazing bars. The main ground floor room includes a large open fireplace with a timber lintel, and there are some exposed ceiling beams.
