Description

No. 427 Long Lane is a detached house, likely from the 18th century, although it may have earlier origins. The house features plastered cob walls with some brick repairs and dressings. It has a hipped thatched roof with a brick stack located just to the left of the door. The front wall includes timber bracing, and there is a ledged door set within a thatched porch. On the ground floor, there are three casement windows with glazing bars beneath timber lintels. The attic contains one dormer with a similar casement window.
