Description
The Homestead is a detached cottage, formerly two cottages, likely built in the late 18th century. It features plastered cob walls and a thatched roof, with one central brick chimney stack and another at the right end. The building is one storey with an attic and has a large plastered buttress on the front wall. There are two ledged doors, one located within a 20th-century timber porch. The ground floor includes four casement windows with glazing bars, while the attic has two dormers with similar casements and a small casement under the eaves. A lean-to addition is present at the left end, covered with a corrugated sheet roof. Inside, there are traces of two large fireplaces, which have been partially built up.
