Description
Wytch Passage Cottage is a Grade II listed cottage that was formerly a ferryman's residence, likely built in the late 18th century. The cottage features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof, with brick stacks at each end. It stands two storeys tall with an attic. A brick porch with a gabled stone slate roof leads to a ledged door. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, set under stone arches. The first floor also has two casement windows, one with glazing bars and the other featuring a central horizontal bar. A slate-roofed lean-to is located at the left end of the building, and there is one dormer window in the rear elevation. Inside, the main ground floor room boasts a large open fireplace with a timber lintel. The cottage is included in the listing partly for its local historic interest.
