Description
Bramble Cottage is a detached cottage, likely built in the 18th century. It features plastered cob walls and a thatched roof that is hipped at the left end, with a brick stack located near the left end. The cottage is positioned at right angles to the road and consists of one storey and an attic. There is a 20th-century ledged door within a 20th-century timber porch, and a part-glazed door at the left end, which likely indicates that this section was once a former outbuilding. The ground floor includes two casement windows with glazing bars set under wooden lintels. The attic has two dormers that contain casements with lead lights. Inside, there are some exposed ceiling beams. At the right end, there is a 20th-century extension made of brick with a slate roof. The cottage remains largely unspoilt.
