Description
Winton View is a detached cottage, probably from the 18th century. It features plastered cob walls and a half hipped thatched roof, with a brick stack at the right end. The building is positioned at right angles to the road and consists of one storey and an attic. The front has a part glazed ledged door, two ground floor casements with a central horizontal bar, and one 20th-century casement. In the attic, there are three dormers with casements that also have a central horizontal bar. At the left end, there is a single storey extension with a pantiled roof that extends to the rear. Additionally, there is a lean-to extension with a pantiled roof along the rear wall, and a lean-to extension at the right end that was under construction at the time of the survey.
