Description

Nea Farm Flats is a former farmhouse, now divided into four dwellings, built in 1780 by S Wyatt and extended in the 19th century. The building is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. The original section is two stories tall with three bays across the front and two bays deep, featuring a central bay that projects on both sides. The 19th-century extensions consist of two additional two-bay blocks that are set back from the front and project to the rear.

The garden front showcases a wide, projecting central bay with an arched opening that contains a 19th-century tripartite sash window. Below this, there are two rubbed arches leading to two cellars, framed with stone. The upper part of the building features six-pane sashes, with additional six-pane sashes under rubbed arches on both floors of each side. The central section has a pediment, and the end bays have a moulded cornice. A chimney stack is located to the right of the central bay, and the roof is hipped.

To the right, the 19th-century wing is set back and includes a single-storey room in front, which has a tripartite sash in a bay window. The left side of this room features a top-lit door under a rubbed arch, while the right side is blank. Above the main part of the building, there are two six-pane sashes positioned over a parapet at the front of the roof.
