Detached cottage. Probably C18. Plastered cob walls, hipped thatched roof, rebuilt brick stack at left end. One storey and attic. Ledged door. Ground floor has four C20 casements - 2 of these with diamond lead lights. Attic has 2 dormers with C20 casements with lead lights. C20 single storey rear extension in matching construction. Internally, main ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintel. Some exposed ceiling beams. (R.C.H.M. Monument 27. Dorset Vol V).
