Description
Saint Michael's Cottage is a detached cottage, likely built in the mid-19th century. It features colourwashed brick walls and a slate roof adorned with ornamental bargeboards and apex pendants. The cottage has brick end stacks, each with two diagonally set shafts and oversailing caps. It stands two storeys tall, with a ledged door located in a plastered porch beneath a segmental arch. The ground floor includes two casement windows with cast iron lights, also under segmental arches, while the first floor has three similar windows. There is a 20th-century flat-roofed extension at the rear. Overall, it remains a picturesque cottage in its original form.
