Description

No. 19, also known as Apple Tree Cottage, is a detached cottage that likely dates from the 18th century, though it may have an earlier origin. The cottage features roughcast cob walls and a hipped thatched roof, with a brick stack located near the right end. It is one storey high with an attic. The ground floor includes two part-glazed doors and three casement windows with glazing bars, along with an added square bay window that has a hipped tiled roof and similar casements. The attic contains two dormers, each with similar casements. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to with a slate roof. The interior has been altered.
