Description
This is a late 18th-century town house, possibly originally a farmhouse. It is built of granite rubble with flat arches on the ground floor, featuring projecting keyblocks. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with slate, with rendered end stacks, and a large right-hand stack that was likely originally a lateral stack. The house has a double-depth plan and a symmetrical two-window facade. It contains late 19th-century four-pane sash windows, and a central doorway with a 20th-century split and boarded door. It stands as one of a row of 18th and early 19th-century houses. The interior has not been inspected. The house is notable as part of a well-preserved group, unusual for its continuity as a predominantly 18th-century row.
