It is built from local rubble with granite dressings and features a steep dry slate roof with a brick stack on the left side. The cottage has a cast-iron ogee gutter and is two storeys high with a single-window range. The windows are 20th-century four-pane horned sashes, and there is a 20th-century partly-glazed door on the right. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage is part of a row of houses from the 18th and early 19th centuries, notable for its continuity as a predominantly 18th-century row, and is included for its group value.
