Description
No. 59 Wendron Street is a cottage located at the end of a row in Helston, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from granite and other rubble, featuring timber lintels on the ground floor and a granite lintel on the first floor. The roof is covered with asbestos slate and has a brick end stack on the right side. The cottage has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with an irregular one-window range. The windows are late 19th-century four-pane horned sashes. There is a doorway on the left, which has a late 19th-century four-panel door, with the top panels later glazed, and it is accessed by four granite steps. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
