Description

No. 5 Quay Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features painted render over rubblestone and has a slate roof with a brick stack at the rear. The building has a single-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a one-window range. There is a central two-light casement window at eaves level above a three-light casement window. A 20th-century door is located in the right reveal, and there is a 19th-century loggia at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage is included for its group value with other nearby buildings.
