Description
No. 3 is an 18th-century house located on Quay Street in Minehead. It has a painted render exterior over rubblestone and features a steep-pitched stone slate roof that has been tarred over, with a brick stack on the right gable end. The house follows a two-unit central-entry plan and has a rear outshut. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window arrangement. The windows are 19th or 20th-century two-light casements with small panes, with those on the first floor positioned at eaves level. There are traces of a former porch supported by brackets leading to a panelled door, and a cast-iron bracket is fixed to the wall on the left. Inside, there are planked doors on the ground floor and a large chimney breast on the right side. The property also features low plinths with 19th-century railings that are looped in pairs and attached to both the left and right sides.
