Description
63 and 65 Wendron Street are a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from granite and other rubble, featuring granite dressings such as ground-floor lintels. The cottages have an asbestos slate roof with brick end stacks and a shallow double-depth plan. They stand two storeys high with a symmetrical two-window front that includes a central pair of doorways. The left side has 20th-century two-light casements above a late 19th-century four-pane horned sash window, while the right side has a similar horned sash window. The doors are from the 20th century, with a top-glazed door on the left (No. 65) and a four-panel door on the right, both accessed by a flight of three granite steps. The interior was not inspected. These cottages are included for their group value.
