Description

98 and 100 Helston Road are a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. The cottage at No. 98 has painted rubble walls, while No. 100 is rendered. Both cottages feature a steep dry slate roof with brick end stacks. They are two storeys high and have a two-window range. The windows are late 19th or 20th century four-pane horned sashes, and there is a central pair of doorways with 20th-century top-glazed doors. The interior has not been inspected. These cottages are part of a row of 18th and early 19th century houses and are notable for their continuity as a predominantly 18th-century row, which contributes to their group value.
