Description

29 and 31 Bampton Street are two cottages built in the early to mid-19th century. They feature painted render over rubblestone and have an asbestos slate roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The cottages have a double-depth plan and are two storeys high. No. 29, on the left, has a two-window range, while No. 31 has a one-window range. No. 29 includes 20th-century windows and a 19th-century six-panelled door with a hood positioned to the left of centre. No. 31 also has 20th-century windows and a 19th-century planked door to the left. The interiors have not been inspected.
