Description
No. 9 Bampton Street is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of colour-washed cob and features an asbestos slate roof with a brick stack at the left gable end. The house has a central entry plan with two units and a rear outshut. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. On the ground floor, 20th-century windows are situated on either side of a six-panel door that is raised and fielded, framed by flat pilasters. Above the door, there is a canted bay window from the 19th century, which contains 19th-century plate-glass sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
