Description

No. 9 Northgate is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is built of brick and has a colour-washed finish with a pantiled roof. The building is a single storey with a two-window front and features a central lobby-entry plan. The entrance consists of a 20th-century panelled door, which is flanked on both sides by two-pane sash windows that have sills and 20th-century boarded shutters. The house has a stepped brick eaves cornice and an axial stack.
