Description

This is a late 18th-century house, possibly a former farmhouse, located on Helston Road in Penryn. The front of the house is textured render on a rubble base, with a steep dry slate roof and brick end stacks. A cast-iron ogee gutter runs along the roofline. The house is arranged over two storeys with a nearly symmetrical two-window facade. It features late 19th-century four-pane horned sash windows. A nearly central, gable-ended porch with a doorway to the right return contains a 20th-century door. The house is one of a row of 18th and early 19th century buildings and is part of a notable group of buildings, remarkable for its continuity as a predominantly 18th-century row. The interior has not been inspected.
