Description
The Narrowboat is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is rendered and was formerly lined out, featuring a slate roof with a brick gable end stack on the right side.
The entrance is located at the left end of the front, leading into one or two rooms on the right, suggesting a possibly double depth plan. The house has two storeys and four windows, all of which are 8-pane sashes set in moulded architraves on the first floor. The ground floor features a recessed 20th-century door on the left, with a panelled ceiling in the porch recess. A wooden eaves cornice supported by consoles runs along the top of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
