Description

No. 21 Fore Street is a house built in the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a slate roof, with a brick gable end stack on the right and a truncated stack on the left. The building has a double depth plan and is 2½ storeys tall with three windows across the front. The ground floor includes a central recessed four-panelled door flanked by 6-pane sash windows, all set beneath a single timber lintel. The first floor also has 6-pane sash windows with timber lintels, while the second floor features two single 20th-century lights. The left side of the building is rendered. The interior has not been inspected.
