ST COLUMB MAJOR UNION HILL (south side),St Columb Major No 6

GII House.Mid C19 with later C19 alterations and additions,and some C20 alterations.Rendered stone rubble.Bitumenised slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends.Stacks removed.Plan:two-room plan with central entrance;each room would formerly have been heated from a gable end stack.Exterior:two-storey,a symmetrical three-window front.First floor has three C19 four-pane sashes in plain raised surrounds.Ground floor has four-panelled door,with similar four-pane sash to right and left,all ground floor openings in plain raised surrounds with cambered arches.First floor band course.Interior:Not inspected.
