Description
No. 6 Union Hill is a house from the mid-19th century, with later alterations and additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is made of rendered stone rubble and has a bitumenised slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. The plan features two rooms with a central entrance, where each room would have originally been heated by a stack at the gable end.
The exterior is two-storey and has a symmetrical three-window front. On the first floor, there are three 19th-century four-pane sash windows with plain raised surrounds. The ground floor features a four-panelled door, with similar four-pane sash windows on either side, all set in plain raised surrounds with cambered arches. There is also a band course on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
