Description

No. 20 Fore Street is a house built in the mid-19th century, with only a few later alterations. It is constructed of stone rubble, rendered at the ground floor, and features slate-hung walls above. The roof is made of asbestos slate and has crested ridge tiles and gable ends. There is a gable end stack on the left with a brick shaft. The house has a two-room plan, with one room at the front and one at the rear, and the entrance is located to the right. The exterior is two storeys high with an asymmetrical front that has one window. On the ground and first floors, there is a 19th-century four-pane sash window on the left and a 20th-century half-glazed door to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
