Description

This is a house, likely dating from the 18th or early 19th century, with later 19th-century and more recent alterations. It is constructed from elvan and granite rubble, with an asbestos slate roof featuring ridge tiles and gable ends. A gable-end stack is present on the left, with a brick shaft. The layout includes a two-room plan: a larger room to the right, a smaller room to the left, and an entrance between them. The front facade is asymmetrical, with three windows on the first floor, each featuring a 19th-century four-pane sash window with a timber lintel. On the ground floor, there’s a 19th-century plate-glass sash window with sidelights and a cambered arch, also with a timber lintel, to the right, and a similar window to the left. A half-glazed door with a timber lintel provides entry. The eaves at the right-hand end of the front have been raised to match the height of number 20. The interior has not been inspected.
