Description

This is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It’s constructed of granite and slate rubble, with the first floor finished in slate hanging. The roof is slate, covered in bitumen, with ridge tiles and gable ends, and a rear stack with a rendered shaft. The house has an asymmetrical two-window front, arranged over two storeys. The first floor has two 19th-century windows with 16 panes, set in exposed boxes and fitted with external shutters. The ground floor features a 20th-century door to the left, with a flat brick arch, a keystone, and a granite ashlar surround. To the right is a 20th-century bow window with a cambered brick arch and external shutters. The upper level of the left side is covered in asbestos slate. The interior has not been inspected. The house's original layout comprised a single room, with access to the left and a rear lateral stack for heating.
