Description

No. 52 High Street is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed of squared sandstone and features a pantile roof with brick stacks. The building has a central-entry plan and is two stories high, with a two-window front. The 20th-century door is flanked by two-light, 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash windows. On the first floor, there are similar 8-pane windows. All windows have renewed stone sills and plain lintels above the ground-floor openings. The house has stacks at both ends.
