Description

Rosea is a house located on the south side of High Street in Snainton. It dates from the mid-19th century, although it likely has earlier origins. The building is constructed of squared sandstone and features bordered herringbone-tooled quoins. It has a slate roof with brick stacks. The house is two stories high and has a two-window front. To the right, there is a door made up of four recessed panels, which is topped with a patterned overlight set within a cornice and pilaster door-case. The windows are 4-pane sashes with painted stone sills and painted heavy lintels throughout. The house has end stacks and is included in the listing for its group value.
