Description

The war memorial, built around the early 20th century, commemorates those who died in the First and Second World Wars. It is constructed from dressed granite and features a round column that stands on an inscribed square plinth, which is set upon a square stepped base. The tall pedestal on the plinth is topped by a taller column with a moulded cornice, which supports a pierced wheel-headed cross in a Celtic style on a short shaft.
