Description
This lychgate likely served the nearby Methodist Chapel. It was probably built around the early 19th century. The construction uses killas and granite rubble with granite dressings. It has a scantle slate roof with gabled ends at both the front and rear. The design is square and features a wide archway at the front, with a similar archway of reduced width at the rear. Stone benches are positioned on either side. The exterior remains largely unaltered, except for the blocked-up windows in the side walls and a partially blocked rear doorway.
