Description

The former chimney of West Wheal Kitty Mine is a detached structure dating from around 1889, part of the West Wheal Kitty Mine complex. The lower stage is constructed from killas and granite rubble, while the upper stage is made of brick. The chimney is round in plan and features a tapered design. It has a stepped brick collar between the two stages and a similar, but smaller, collar near the top.
