Description
No. 92 Meneage Street is a shop with accommodation above, dating from the early to mid-19th century. The front is finished in stucco on studwork, and it has a scantle slate roof with a brick stack on the left side. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall, featuring a two-window range. The original 16-pane hornless sash windows are located above an unaltered double shop front, which includes quadrant end lights and small panes. The shop front is adorned with a moulded entablature and fascia, a central door with margin panes, and a three-pane overlight, with an open doorway at the far right. The complete original shop front is a rare and important feature of this building. The interior has not been inspected.
