Description

Nos. 80 and 82 on Meneage Street in Helston are a pair of cottages, likely built in the late 18th century. They feature incised render on the front and a steep dry slate roof, with brick end stacks, one of which is partly rendered. The cottages have a shallow-depth plan and are two storeys high, presenting a symmetrical three-window front with a central pair of doorways. The first floor has 20th-century four-pane horned sash windows, while the larger ground-floor openings have similar six-pane sashes. The doors are also from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected. These cottages are included for their group value.
