Description
No. 115 on Meneage Street is a small mid-19th century house that is part of a terrace. The original stucco has been removed, except for the shared panelled giant end pilaster on the right and the moulded eaves cornice. The building is now constructed of local rubble with granite dressings and features shallow segmental brick arches. It has an asbestos slate roof and a shared brick stack on the right. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a regular two-window range. The windows are mid to late 19th century four-pane hornless sashes, or possibly original sashes with the glazing bars removed. The main entrance is located under the left-hand window and features a fretted porch with an original six-panel door that has later glazed top panels. There is also a passage doorway at the far left, which has a hood and bracket on the left and possibly an original ledged door, along with squat overlights. The interior has not been inspected.
