Description
No. 3 Killigrew Street is a shop with residential accommodation above, dating from the early 19th century. The building features stucco on studwork and a slate roof supported by paired brackets under the eaves soffit. It has a double-depth plan with a rear wing and stands three storeys tall, displaying a two-window range with original 16-pane hornless sash windows. The ground floor showcases a late 19th-century cast-iron canted double shop front, which includes a splayed central doorway and arched spandrel heads flanking two large single-pane lights, likely with intermediate mullions removed. There is a recessed glazed door with an overlight, while the original fascia is obscured by a 20th-century sloping fascia. To the left, there is a house doorway featuring an overlight and a panelled door. The interior has not been inspected.
