Description
32 Dolphin Street is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century, constructed of rendered and painted stone rubble. It has an asbestos slate roof with gable ends and brick stacks. The building likely has a one-room plan with an entrance stair hall on the right and a two-room plan on the first floor. It is built into a steep slope, resulting in a single-storey elevation at the rear.
The front of the house is two storeys high and features a regular two-window layout. The ground floor has brick segmental arches over the openings, with a 19th-century 12-pane hornless sash window on the left and a 20th-century part-glazed door on the right. The first floor has two 19th-century 12-pane hornless sash windows. There is also a lean-to extension that projects forward from the front right. The interior has not been inspected.
