Description
Hurstholm is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of stone rubble with a slate-hung front elevation. It features an asbestos slate roof with gable ends and brick end stacks. The layout likely consists of a single depth, two-room plan with a central entrance, heated by end stacks, and includes a service wing with a one-room plan at the rear.
The building is two storeys high and has a regular three-window front, with a central entrance that has a slate hood. To the right, there is a 20th-century window in a 12-pane sash opening, while to the left is a late 19th-century canted bay window with a hipped slate roof that extends beyond the window and is supported by timber posts featuring cusped timber barge boards. On the first floor, there are two 20th-century windows in openings that were originally for 12-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
