Description

The unroofed lychgate at the north entrance to the churchyard of Egloshayle Church is likely from the early 19th century. It features two stone rubble side walls topped with flat slates and stone rubble benches with slate tops on the inner side. Attached to the north are a pair of square-on-plan slatestone gate piers, which support a late 19th-century wrought iron gate and a late 19th-century overthrow.
