Description

The churchyard lych gate located to the east of the Church of St Giles is a structure from the mid to late 19th century. It features rubble side walls with dressed sandstone quoins and a gabled slate roof that has sprocketted eaves and cusped bargeboards. The roof is supported by a king post framework with raking struts. The double gates are designed with open trelliswork in the top half and are topped with iron fleur de lys finials.
