Description

This is a circa mid-19th century house, forming the left-hand property of a pair in Dolphin Street, Port Isaac. The building is constructed of rendered and painted stone rubble, with a slate roof that is half-hipped on the left and gabled on the right. A brick chimney stack is located on the right-hand gable end.

The house has a double depth plan, incorporating two front rooms, a central entrance, and likely a small central stair hall. The front elevation is almost symmetrical with two windows, and retains its original 16-pane hornless sashes, all set within brick segmental arches. A partly glazed 19th-century door is centrally positioned, complete with a fanlight and a 20th-century lean-to hood. The ground and first floors each contain two sashes. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
