Description

SW 98 SE ST ENDELLION DOLPHIN STREET, (south side), Port Isaac 9/45 No 36 (Rubena Cottage) - GV II House. Circa early C19. Stone rubble, partly painted on right-hand side elevation. Asbestos slate roof with hipped ends and brick axial chimney stack. Probably 3-room plan with central room heated by brick axial chimney stack, backing onto passage and further room added in projecting wing to rear right. Ground rises steeply to left. 2 storeys asymmetrical 3-window front. Ground floor with dressed stone segmental arches with C19 16-pane hornless sash, C19 16-pane horned sash, timber gabled open porch with C20 door and C19 16-pane hornless to right. First floor with 2 C19 16- pane hornless sashes with central replacement 4-pane sash. Interior not inspected.
