Description

Fuchsia Cottage is a house dating to 1849, located in Port Isaac, Cornwall. It is constructed of painted and rendered stone rubble, with a slate roof, hipped end gables, and brick chimney stacks. The plan is of two rooms and a cross passage, with the room on the right being slightly larger. The front facade is almost symmetrical, with a two-window arrangement, and contains original 19th-century hornless sash windows. The entrance is to the left of centre, featuring a 20th-century partly-glazed six-panel door with a datestone positioned above. There are two twelve-pane sashes on each of the ground, first, and second floors. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
